  1. VSF-mania!:) Great painting there, Jan. Full of character.

What exactly motivates you to do VSF? With my upcoming move to England, I was told that VSF is the absolute favourite in the Notts area at the moment and I can't, for the life of me, understand why. Maybe - besides your beautifully painted miniatures - I haven't seen the right inspirational material yet, but I feel no attraction toward that faux period.

  2. Good Lord, apparently you're not running out of steam on this. ;-)
Nice piece of work; I like how you've achieved a subtle shading on the black trousers and his leather cape.
If only the miniatures would be a bit better priced...

@Doc Phobos: I think it's Steampunk, i.e. weird fantasy with a Victorian Age resemblance in look and style. VSF would be more about Prussians marching along steam walkers on Mars and the like.

  3. Thanks fellas! I don´t know if it´s Steampunk or VSF, but I really don´t care. For me the Miniatures were inspirationlly enough. The new "Sherlock Holmes" is superb movie to get some ideas of a dirty, victorian city.

  4. If you're into a Sherlock Holmes setting, count me in, too. ;) I have lots and lots of Victorian adventurers deep down in my lead mountain, and always wanted to do a "Jules Vernes & company" game.

Maybe as a follow-up to the 2nd RCW and the Tactica project, of course!?
