Incursio Barbarica 22: Little farm
I didn´t paint for ages, but this weekend I finally managed to get my farm done. Dwellings are Gripping Beast, the wattle fence is Renedra and the rest is built from scratch. I did this for my germans, but I will look the part from the bronze age until medieval times I guess.

A very fine piece of scenery! It will add much atmosphere on a table.
ReplyDeleteGreat stuff and very versatile as you've already stated!
ReplyDeleteIndividual basing would have improved the versatility even more but I imagine it wouldn't look so good.

Wow! A really impressive job. High quality scenery should be a must for any wargaming table. Looking to see some action around this fine piece

ReplyDeleteGreat work! Can I ask how you built the base board?
ReplyDeleteThanks!
ReplyDeleteYou´re right Markus, I allready have a few single based houses, here I just copied a farm I´ve seen on LAF.
SG you´re good at talking...but talk is cheap. Let´s see how the dice will roll.
Sorry SD I didn't read your question. The Base is made of thick(2mm) plastic card. Works well.
ReplyDeleteGreat! I love the atmosphere you created.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful looking farm and a very inspiring layout! Adds a lot of ambiance...
